Siemens and CITIC daika expand cooperation to enable its global strategic layout with digitalization. Recently, Siemens and CITIC daika Co., Ltd. (CITIC daika) signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides will further deepen the sustainable digital strategic partnership when the gap exceeds the standard, and carry out more extensive and in-depth cooperation in globalization capacity-building, advanced technology co creation, and whole ecosystem collaboration. Siemens will rely on its advanced digital technology and solutions to escort the global layout and implementation of CITIC daika's digital strategy. This cooperation is a further deepening of the digital strategic cooperation agreement signed by the two sides in 2015, focusing on the research and development of advanced equipment such as machine tools, the further excavation of the application potential of digital twins at the equipment level and the new plant level, as well as the application exploration of future technologies such as industrial AI, edge computing, big data in industrial scenes

CITIC daika, the world's leading auto parts manufacturer, has been walking with Siemens on the road of digital transformation and has established a deep friendship. In the more than 10 years of cooperation between the two sides on the reduction of digital modulus of elasticity, Siemens' technologies and solutions have spread all over CITIC daika China and its 26 overseas factories in Europe, North America, Africa and other regions. CITIC daika and Siemens have jointly launched the pioneering application of many advanced technologies and the active exploration of digital transformation, and have become the vanguard and pioneer of China's industrial digital transformation. Today, CITIC daika is in the critical period of upgrading its globalization strategy. Siemens will provide strong backing and full support for CITIC daika's globalization strategic layout with its advanced digital technology, rich digital practical experience, extensive global resources and perfect service system

Siemens has always been a leader and innovator in industrial reform, and has rich experience and achievements in fields such as digital solutions and industrial IOT. The signing of this strategic agreement marks a new chapter in the digital cooperation between CITIC daika and Siemens. It is believed that the fruitful results of the cooperation between the two sides will become another model of CO creation and win-win in the industrial field, and provide reference and reference for the digital transformation and upgrading of the entire auto parts industry

According to the agreement, the two sides will jointly establish a team to discuss the future direction of intelligent manufacturing of wheel hubs and automotive aluminum alloy components, build a digital platform and framework for CITIC daika, and gather the advantageous resources of both sides to carry out continuous research and development of special equipment for intelligent manufacturing and digital solutions, so as to finally form a sustainable competitive advantage of CITIC daika in the world. The platform built by Siemens and CITIC daika will support the operation to a higher level. With CITIC daika, Siemens will establish a global spare parts and service system. Siemens will support its member enterprises worldwide in equipment technology upgrading, transformation, repair, maintenance and other service businesses, and maintain regular exchanges between the operation and management teams of both parties, so as to promote the construction of CITIC daika's international capability platform. The two sides will jointly promote the cooperation of cutting-edge technologies in the industrial field, actively expand the application scenarios of digital twins, industrial big data and artificial intelligence, industrial knowledge platform, industrial information security, lean digitization and so on, and jointly establish the industrial ecosystem of the automotive industry on the premise of data security. At the same time, Siemens will also support CITIC daika to build laboratories based on Siemens systems, including advanced automation, big data and edge computing, CNC systems, and provide experimental facilities and technical support

as early as 10 years ago, Siemens and CITIC daika began single machine cooperation. Siemens PLC and TIA botu and other products have been widely used in CITIC daika's factories through supply side reform based on market demand. In 2015, with the opening of CITIC daika's global layout, Siemens provided comprehensive digital products and solutions including PLM, MES, industrial communication, TIA botu, servo motor, etc. for its first new overseas hub plant in the United States, and dispatched an engineering implementation team to the United States to finally help customers complete the digital delivery of the new plant. In 2018, Siemens' digital twin technology went to Africa along the the Belt and Road with the construction of its Moroccan plant. Combined with the actual situation in Morocco, Siemens uses factory simulation technology to verify the rationality of the new factory layout and local operation strategy, so as to assist decision-making. With the support of tecnomatix and Teamcenter software platforms, digital twin technologies such as virtual laboratory and high-voltage machine CAE simulation are gradually being carried out in modules. In 2020, the two sides began to explore in the fields of industrial AI and industrial knowledge, with a view to tapping the application potential of cutting-edge technologies in industrial scenarios
